A lot has happened in 2015. You have experienced and endured so much more than what was on your calendar for the year. For that matter we all have, however, that actually makes the end of the year a great time for reflection and a great time to take inventory of how your mental and physical self currently resides.
What will you keep from this year and what will you discard? Who will you keep and who will you fire?
Seriously, take time to ask and answer these questions and plan ahead for the new year. If you have already made some plans, great! Review and pursue. If you have yet to make plans it is not too late and you will still be ahead of the majority who fail to plan and prosper. Regardless if you look at this time of year to make resolutions or if you think they are not worthwhile at all, it is indeed a great time to acknowledge the previous year for what it was and what opportunities lie ahead in the new year.
My guess is that you can pinpoint things that are negatives in your life--yourself, certain things or certain people that bog you down and keep you from maximizing your potential. I admire individuals who are able to eliminate negative things and negative people from their lives. Sometimes you do need help identifying these things. Irregardless, why in the world would you want to keep an inventory stocked full of negatives? Let's make a pledge today to make 2016 the best year that there has ever been and to eliminate negative things/persons from our lives without looking back. Make a conscious effort to invest with the right mentors/coaches that accentuate your positives and your strengths. Use your natural abilities and the knowledge from your mentors/coaches to take back the reigns on your life and your business. Knowing that you are not in the fight and the grind alone is paramount. We don't know how much time that there is to excel, but knowing that every second spent doing anything else is just a wasted second.
I'm so excited about 2016!!!! I hope that you are in a place where you are excited too. If you are not, there is help to get you there as long so long as you have the drive and desire to be there. One of my favorite quotes is "wherever you are, be there." That's rather profound if you let it sink in.
Here's to all of you!! Happy New Year! Happy New You!
